Senior Advisor on humanitarian affairs
For the past 12 years, Ophelie has worked in international law, diplomacy and international development. She holds a Master in International Law and Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. She has 4 years+ experience working with the United Nations combined with 8 years of field experience – including 5 years in South Sudan as IsraAID’s Country Director.
She is now based in Israel where she advises companies and organizations seeking to bolster their role, strategy, and partnerships in international development and humanitarian work.
At the Pears Program, Ophelie is a senior advisor on humanitarian affairs. She is responsible for developing the strategy and content of the 2019 Pears Challenge on WASH solutions for humanitarian settings.
