Aiding South Sudan: Technological and Humanitarian Perspectives

In an open session hosted by The Hartog School of Government and Policy, attendees heard perspectives regarding the conditions in South Sudan resulting from the conflict occurring during the time. The session featured two speakers: Chris Nikoi, Country Director and Representative of the United Nations World Food Program in South Sudan, who spoke about food security challenges; and Shari Oz, Israaid Program Consultant on Gender-Based Violence in South Sudan, who spoke about the impact of Israaid's work with police and social workers in South Sudan.
