Hagit is the Managing Director of the Pears Program. She spent several years living and working in East Africa for an Israeli MedTech company, where she led operations and developed multi-sector, long-term partnerships that propelled wide-scale HIV prevention initiatives in Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Hagit started her career working in various educational positions within the formal and non-formal Israeli education system – working with municipalities, community centers, and schools to promote quality and access to education for Israel’s youth.

She holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Open University of Israel.
